- Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth — avoid using wet cloths regularly as concrete is porous
- Do not leave damp or wet objects sitting in the bowl for extended periods
- Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch or dull the matte surface
- A light coat of beeswax or concrete sealer every few months deepens the finish and improves water resistance
- Handle with care — the ridged walls are sturdy but a sharp knock on a hard edge can chip concrete
- Minor texture variations are a natural characteristic of hand-cast concrete — not imperfections
